1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Heritage of Pakistan (heritageofpakistan.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of service
Heritage of Pakistan is a digital platform for discovering, exploring, and contributing to the documentation of Pakistan's cultural, historical, and natural heritage sites. Features include site discovery, trip planning, wishlists, photo galleries, reviews, and offline access.
3. User accounts
- You may sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts. Accounts created to circumvent bans or restrictions will be removed.
- You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings.
4. User-generated content
When you submit photos, reviews, notes, or other content ("Content") to Heritage of Pakistan:
- You retain ownership of your Content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute it within the platform.
- You confirm that your Content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or privacy right.
- You agree not to submit Content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.
- Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not permit content that is offensive, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable, nor abusive behaviour toward other users. Posting such content or behaving abusively may result in the content being removed and your account being suspended or terminated.
- Every review and user photo can be reported, and you can block any user so you no longer see their content. We review reports and remove violating content, ejecting repeat or serious offenders, within 24 hours.
- We reserve the right to remove Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the platform without our written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
- Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or phishing content.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
6. Intellectual property
All platform design, code, logos, and curated heritage content (excluding user-submitted content) are the property of Heritage of Pakistan or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without our express written consent.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that heritage site information is always accurate, complete, or up to date — always verify critical details (opening hours, access, safety) before visiting a site.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heritage of Pakistan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct detrimental to the platform or its users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
