Qaus-as-Sultani
Makli, Thatta, Sindh

Qaus-as-Sultani, also written Kaus Sultani, is one of the oldest tombs on the Makli necropolis near Thatta, built in the Samma period. It stands in the Samma group of monuments, south of the tomb known as Samma Noble II. Its stone openings carry pointed, cusped arches typical of early Makli. The structure is fragile and in poor condition, so it is best viewed with care.
