Manchar Lake, located west of the Indus River in Sindh, Pakistan, is the country’s largest natural freshwater lake. Fed by mountain streams and the Indus River, it supports local fishing communities and diverse birdlife. The lake’s ecosystem, however, faces challenges from pollution and reduced freshwater inflow.
