Gurdwara Dera Saab
Walled City of Lahore, Punjab

Gurdwara Dera Sahib stands beside the Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, at the spot where Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Sikh Guru, was martyred in 1606. Its gilded dome and white marble mark one of the holiest Sikh sites in Pakistan. The Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh stands right next to it. Thousands of Sikh pilgrims gather here each year for the Guru's martyrdom day.
