Gwadar
Gwadar, Balochistan

Gwadar is a port town on the Makran coast of Balochistan, set on a narrow strip of sand between two bays below the Hammerhead cliffs. It was ruled by the Sultan of Oman for nearly two centuries until Pakistan bought it in 1958. Today it is home to a deep-sea port and fishing harbours. Its beaches, cliffs and fish markets draw visitors along the Makran Coastal Highway.
